Calendar Help

Finding Calendars:

We usually write calendars about 3 months in advance. Very special events may be put on the calendar a year in advance. If you open up a calendar and only see special events, You are looking at an "unofficial" calendar that has not been completed yet.

The Index Button is found at the top of the screen and can be used to take you back to the main calendar index.

Back and Forward Buttons are at the top of the screen. These buttons will take you to the previous or next month. If you go past the end of the calendar you will get an error screen. Simply hit your "back" button.

If you would like to view the calendar in your full browser window, simply right-click "Calendar" on the main Trinity index, and select "open in a new window" option. Remember to close that window when you are done.

Filtering Results:

Filter My View can be found at the bottom of the page. You can use this feature to see only when certain types of groups are meeting, certain locations are in use, or to view a simplified calendar without the times listed.

To Use the Filter, select which filter you want to use and then click on the "Submit Filter" button. The filter will default back to "All" so clicking it a second time will restore the whole calendar.

Navigation:

To view details about a given day, click on the day number in the upper left hand corner of the box. You will then be able to view the Time, Group Type, Location, Duration, and any special announcement for each event scheduled on that day.

Special Links may be provided on certain events that provide more information about that event. Clicking on that link will open a new window containing that information.

Return To Calendar button will take you back to a view of the whole current month.

Printing the Calendar:

Size: If you use IE7, the calendar will be fit to whatever page size you print on. Prior versions of Internet explorer will not do this, and we recommend setting your printer to print "Landscape" (wide)

Filters: If you selected a "filtered view", the print page will also be filtered. If you do not want your printout filtered, close the print window, turn off the filter, then select "Printer Friendly Page" again.
